Abstract− Educational Personnel (Tendik) are personnel/employees who work in educational units other than teaching staff. Educational personnel are tasked with carrying out administration, management, development, supervision and technical services to support the educational process in educational units. STMIK Mulia Darma is a private university that requires educational staff who are able to carry out their duties well and professionally. For this reason, it is necessary to select educational staff (Tendik) so that staff candidates are obtained based on the required criteria.

A decision support system is an application that can assist decision making by processing data and information that can be used in various fields, including in the selection of educational staff (Tendik) based on competency criteria using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used to consider and select the most relevant criteria in the selection process against the criteria required in assessing Tendik competencies, including education, work experience, interpersonal skills and special skills. Next, each criterion is weighted to determine its level of importance in the selection process.

It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to increasing efficiency and objectivity in the Tendik selection process. The decision support system developed can be used as a tool that can assist in making better decisions by providing rankings and recommendations in Tendik selection based on predetermined competency criteria.
