Implementasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Dalam Penerimaan Tenaga Honorer Dinas Komunikasi Dan Informatika Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Menggunakan Metode Preference Selection Index (Psi)

The Labuhanbatu Regency Communication and Information Service was established at the end of 2016, has three functional sections where each function is interrelated. Among these functions is collecting data either from the activities of regional apparatus organizations, or the activities of regional leaders, namely the Regent or deputy Regent as well as from the local community, which is then processed and distributed either through government online media or between agencies and stored in a data center, so that when it is needed again, the data is still there and the overall data can be accounted for. There is a lack of civil servants to obtain data in the field, so it is necessary to recruit honorary personnel to help achieve these activities.
The selection process is a series of activities used to determine which prospective honorary officers will be selected appropriately. So a decision support system is needed to be able to produce faster solutions and more reliable results. Even though decision support systems may not be able to solve problems, the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method is needed, which is a method that can solve both structured and unstructured problems.
This research uses a sample of applicants at the Labuhanbatu Regency Communication and Information Service, who are then selected and determined according to the criteria. There are seven criteria including educational level, grades or GPA, competency certificate, work experience, academic tests, personality tests and intelligence tests. From the results of the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method, it was found that applicant alternative number 10 had the best score of 1 and applicant number one alternative had a score of 0.96. Based on the values obtained, implementing the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method can produce appropriate and accurate decisions according to the needs of the Labuhanbatu Regency Communication and Information Service.
